The final... stretch of pregnancy! (see what I did there)
Anyway, these last three months can drag on for what feels like forever. Especially if you're a FTM and your due date comes and goes (it most likely will because the average FTM goes to 41+2)! I remember when I was pregnant with my first I woke up every day after my due date and rubbed my huge belly and talked to my baby and told her that it was a beautiful day to be born. She still waited 5 days, stubborn from the beginning!
Some fun things happen in the third trimester! Did you find out your baby's gender? Have you picked out names?
You will probably have your baby shower sometime soon! Make sure you have your registry is all ready! (and don't forget if you're my client, I can set up a free registry for you so your friends and family can help contribute!)
If you weren't sure about hiring a doula or photographer for your birth, it's still not too late!
Most maternity sessions are scheduled between 34-36 weeks so it's a great time to schedule your maternity session if you haven't already! (newborn sessions too!)
You might want to see a pelvic floor physical therapist to help with pain that can occur in the final months of pregnancy, learn about pushing positions, and some other preventative measures! >> Bloom Physical Therapy
Chiropractic and acupuncture can be really great during this time to help prepare your body for labor and! >> Iman Chiropractic >>Back to Center Acupuncture
It's also a great time to start preparing for the 4th trimester. The postpartum period is often neglected but if you can prep it'll be so worth it! Stock up on some comfy, large, granny panties! A peri bottle, herbal bath soaks, huge pads, breast pads, padsicles, and lots of freezer meals!
Once you've done all that stuff, it's time to sleep again! Besides that nesting energy that you'll get, you will probably be pretty tired again so sleeping whenever you can, with as many pillows as you need is a great idea!
I can't wait for you to meet your baby!

much love,
Olivia
