3 Beautiful Ways to Show off Your Photos
Imagine this...
You just had a newborn session done with one of your favorite photographers. This is your third and probably the last baby. You had newborn pictures done with your last two and never printed anything, but this year is going to be different! You felt beautiful despite the postpartum mess you normally feel. Your family had so much fun and looked so great. You spent a decent amount of money and got a certain amount of images included in a digital gallery. You know you want to get art for the walls and maybe an album to gift to your parents.

A couple of weeks later you get your images, tears come to your eyes as you look at your beautiful family. You see how much your little baby has grown already in the last couple of weeks. You're so glad you got these images taken, these memories preserved. You're excited about all the possible ways to display these photos but once you start looking, you get overwhelmed by the options. Would it be better in a frame or on a canvas? What size looks good? 8x10 is normal right? Should I just get one or should I do a gallery? If I do a gallery how should I design it? Will there be enough room on my wall? And how on earth do I pick what images to you??
The baby is crying, you walk away from your computer and your images sit on your computer. You think about printing from time to time but the thought is just too overwhelming.

Now imagine this...
You just had a newborn session done with one of your favorite photographers. This is your third and probably the last baby. You had newborn pictures done with your

last two and never printed anything, but this year is going to be different! You felt beautiful despite the postpartum mess you normally feel. Your family had so much fun and looked so great. You spent a decent amount of money. Before your session, you talked about the products she offers along with the digital gallery. You were hesitant at first because it felt so different, most photographers just give you the

pictures right!? But then she talked about how she walks you through the process, she can even predesign an album for approval if you're interested in albums! She can show you what images would look best in what way. Your mind is set at ease, you're going to have beautiful images and beautiful ways to display them, without any of the headache!
A couple of weeks later, your photographer comes over. She brings a little gift, it was so thoughtful. You felt nervous about having someone come over in those early postpartum months, but she set your mind at ease. She's been there and knows exactly what it's like! She comes over after the older kids are in bed, she plays this beautiful slideshow put to music of all of the pictures from your session. You were tearing up and noticed your husband's eyes were a little glossy too! When the slideshow is over, we go through the gallery with a simple "yes, no, maybe" method. She showed us the album she designed and it blew me away. about 45 minutes after she came she was packing up and done! We knew exactly what we were getting, and it was so easy.
Once all of the products were delivered she brought them over and even help hang the wall art we got, making sure we had the correct hardware and everything was level and even! You may have spent a little more money than you were anticipating but it was 1000% worth it when you think about how easy the process was! You even have the slideshow to share with your family!

So what do you think? Have you ever experienced these scenarios? I know I went through that first one multiple times. It took me two years to get a piece of wall art from a family session! Analysis paralysis much??
I know how helpful it is to have an outside pair of eyes to narrow down the options, I know when you're pregnant, or postpartum the last thing you're worried about is hanging (or ordering) wall art and other products.
That's why it's an important part of my business to offer this to my clients! I do still include digital files, you could choose to print on your own if you want. But! if you want to save yourself from that first scenario, I am here to help!
Besides the options pictured in this post, I also offer framed prints, wood prints, and smaller hanging wooden prints. Gallery walls are also an option with several options!
